Forwards (also known as attackers) are outfield positions in an association football team who play the furthest up the pitch and are therefore most responsible for scoring goals as well as assisting them. As with any attacking player, the role of the forward relies heavily on being able to create space for attack. FC Sportakademklub Moscow (russian: ФК «Спортакадемклуб») is a Russian professional association football club, based in Moscow. Despite finishing outside the Russian First Division relegation zone in 2008 (the only season the team spent in the second-tier competition), the club could not afford to participate in the 2009 season in the division and volunteered to get relegated to the Russian Second Division for 2009 season. In 2010 season they were relegated from the Russian Second Division to the amateur fourth-tier Amateur Football League. FC Vityaz Podolsk is a Russian football club based in Podolsk that played in the Russian First Division in 2009. The club was founded in 1996 as a non-professional team. The current team was formed in 2000 and in 2001 it turned professional. The uniforms are all black for home and away games. PFC Sokol (russian: ПФК "Сокол") is a Russian association football club based in Saratov. In 2001 and 2002, Sokol played in the Russian Premier League. Currently the club plays in the third-level FNL 2. History The club was founded as ''Dynamo''. It was known by this name until 1930 and in 1946–1953. Other club's names include ''Lokomotiv'' (1956–1960), ''Energiya'' (1954–1955), ''Sokol'' (1961–1994 and 1998–2005), and ''Sokol-PZD'' (1995–1997). "Sokol" is Russian for "falcon".
