Igor Bališ
Igor Bališ (born 5 January 1970) is a former Slovak footballer. Bališ played for West Bromwich Albion in England. He has also appeared for Spartak Trnava and Slovan Bratislava, as well as the Slovakia national team. Bališ joined Albion in November 2000 for £150,00. He made his Albion debut on 23 December 2000, coming on as a late substitute in a 3–0 win against Nottingham Forest. He converted a dramatic stoppage time penalty against Bradford City in the penultimate game of the 2001–02 season, which put Albion on the brink of promotion to the Premier League. Albion were on an unbeaten 8 game run coming into the match with Bradford but the game had been played out as an attritional 0-0, with both sides unable to score when Bob Taylor was brought down in the 90th minute of the game to secure the penalty. Križovany Nad Dudváhom
Križovany nad Dudváhom ( hu, Vágkeresztúr) is a village and municipality of Trnava District in the Trnava region of Slovakia. Rotunda The old rotunda is one of the most interesting things to see in the village. It was built in the 11th century and has an interesting combination of Gothic and Romanesque elements. The patrotinium was the Saint Cross. In 1246 had been built a chapel to the rotunda and in 1780 had been constructed a new baroque church, which had been, however, demolished in 1937 so that a church with higher believers capacity will be built. But State Institute for the protection of historical sightseeings insisted on the protection of the rotunda and this had been succeeded. In 1938 the new church had been built, the old rotunda was preserved and the murals were restored between 1967 and 1970. Gary Megson
Gary John Megson (born 2 May 1959) is an English former football player and manager. He has previously managed Norwich City, Blackpool, Stockport County, Stoke City, West Bromwich Albion, Nottingham Forest, Leicester City, Bolton Wanderers and Sheffield Wednesday. He guided West Brom to promotion in 2001–02 and 2003–04, both times from the First Division to the Premier League. He is the son of Don Megson and the brother of Neil Megson, both former players. The team first played in an international match on 27 August 1939, soon after the formation of the first Slovak Republic. The team played some matches during the Second World War, but after this it was subsumed within the Czechoslovakia national team.
