Ignazio Collino
Ignazio Collino (1724–1793) was an Italian sculptor, active in the late-Baroque period, mainly in the region of the Piedmont. Biography Collino was born in Turin. Up to the age of 14, he worked under his father, Damẻ, from whom he learned wood carving. Along with his brother, Filippo Collino (ca 1737–1800), Ignazio worked in a restrained formal style, intermediate between Baroque and Neoclassicism. He went to apprentice with the bronze sculptor François Ladotte (Francois Ladatte) and in drawing with Claudio Francesco Beaumont in 1744. With Ladotte, he completed a ''Saint Sebastian''. A royal subsidy provided by Charles Emmanuel III of Sardinia, Carlo Emanuele III of Savoy in 1750 enabled him to go to Rome. He was there in 1754 at work with fellow-Lombard Giovanni Battista Maini, who was a trainee of Camillo Rusconi. Ignazio Abate (; born 12 November 1986) is an Italian former professional footballer who played as a full-back and manager of AC Milan's under-19 side. On early stage deployed as a winger, he was also capable of playing as a wide midfielder or as a wing-back, and was even used as a centre-back on occasion; he was renowned for his stamina, quick sprints, and ability to make attacking runs down the right flank. Ignazio Persico
Ignazio Camillo Guglielmo Maria Pietro Persico (30 January 1823, Naples – 7 December 1895) was an Italian Cardinal of the Roman Catholic Church who served multiple assignments including as Vicar Apostolic, bishop, Apostolic delegate to Ireland, and Vicar of the Roman Colleges. He briefly served as the bishop of the Diocese of Savannah, Georgia from 1870 to 1873. Biography Persico entered the Capuchin Franciscan Order on 25 April 1839, and immediately after ordination was sent in November, 1846, to Patna, India. The vicar Apostolic, Anastasius Hartmann, made him his socius and confidant. In 1850 Persico accompanied Hartmann to Mumbai, when he was transferred to that vicariate, and assisted him in founding a seminary and establishing the "Bombay Catholic Examiner". At the time of the 1853 schism in Goa, then a part of the Portuguese Empire, the bishop sent Persico to Rome and London to lay the Catholic case before the Pope and the British Government.

Ignazio Roberto Maria Marino (; born 10 March 1955) is an Italian transplant surgeon who was Mayor of Rome from 2013 to 2015. As a surgeon, he trained with Thomas Starzl, who had pioneered liver transplantion in humans. In 1992–1993, as a member of Thomas Starzl's team at the University of Pittsburgh in the United States, he conducted two baboon-to-human liver transplants.
