''The Voice: la plus belle voix (season 3)'' is the third season of the French reality singing competition, created by media tycoon John de Mol. It was aired from 11 January 2014 to 10 May 2014 on TF1. One of the important premises of the show is the quality of the singing talent. Four coaches, themselves popular performing artists, train the talents in their group and occasionally perform with them. Talents are selected in blind auditions, where the coaches cannot see, but only hear the auditioner. Three of the coaches continued from season 2, namely were Florent Pagny, Jenifer Bartoli, Jenifer and Garou (singer), Garou. But the fourth coach Louis Bertignac from seasons 1 and 2 was replaced by British singer Mika (singer), Mika. Kendji Girac of Team Mika was the third season winner with finale held on May 10, 2014. Michael Holbrook Penniman Jr. (born 18 August 1983), known professionally as Mika ( , stylised as MIKA), is a singer-songwriter born in Beirut, Lebanon, and raised in Paris and London. After recording his first extended play, '' Dodgy Holiday'', Mika was named the number-one predicted breakthrough act of 2007 in an annual BBC poll of music critics, Sound of 2007. Mika released his first full-length studio album, ''Life in Cartoon Motion'', on Island Records in 2007, which has sold more than 8.3 million copies worldwide and helped Mika win a Brit Award—Best British Breakthrough act—and receive a Grammy Award nomination. "Papaoutai" (, , French for ''"Dad, where are you?"'') is a song written and performed by Belgian singer Stromae. The song was released as a digital download in Belgium on 13 May 2013 as the lead single from his second studio album ''Racine carrée'' (2013). The song peaked at number one in Belgium and France and became the best selling single of 2013 in Belgium. A remix of the song featuring Angel Haze also appears on the album. The song was performed live at the 2013 NRJ Music Awards, where it featured American rapper will.i.am.
