Iggy
Iggy or Iggie is a unisex name and it is often a short form of the Roman Latin names Ignatia (feminine) and Ignatius (masculine), or their derivatives in other European languages. As such the name is derived ultimately from the Etruscan language family name ''Egnat'', the meaning of which is unknown. (The Romans added the Latin nominative endings ''-ia'' and ''-ius''.) A spelling with an initial "I" later became dominant, possibly because of a resemblance to the Latin word ''ignis'' "fire". Amethyst Amelia Kelly (born 7 June 1990), known professionally as Iggy Azalea (), is an Australian rapper. At the age of 16, Azalea moved from Australia to the United States in order to pursue a career in music. Egnatius "Iggy" Katona (August 16, 1916 – December 4, 2003) was an American stock car racing driver from Willis, Michigan. He is most famous for his performance in the ARCA series in the 1950s, 1960s, and 1970s, where he won six championships and 79 races, the latter of which stood as a series record until Frank Kimmel surpassed it in 2013. Marshall Kenneth "Iggie" Shurnas (April 1, 1922 – August 19, 2006) was an American football Wide receiver, end who played one season in the All-America Football Conference (AAFC) for the Cleveland Browns in 1947. Shurnas began his football career at the University of Missouri, playing on teams that won the Big Eight Conference, Big Six Conference in 1941 and 1942. After a stint in the United States Army, U.S. Army during World War II, he joined the Browns. Cleveland won the AAFC championship in 1947, but Shurnas left after the season for the Buffalo Bills (AAFC), Buffalo Bills. He did not play in any games for Buffalo, however. High school and college Shurnas attended Central VPA High School, Central High School in St. Louis, Missouri, where he played as an end on the school's football team for three years. ''Little Lulu'' is a comic strip created in 1935 by American author Marjorie Henderson Buell. The character, Lulu Moppet, debuted in ''The Saturday Evening Post'' on February 23, 1935, in a single panel, appearing as a flower girl at a wedding and mischievously strewing the aisle with banana peels. ''Little Lulu'' replaced Carl Anderson's '' Henry'', which had been picked up for distribution by King Features Syndicate. The Reverend Jim "Iggy" Ignatowski is a fictional character in the 1970s television series ''Taxi''. He was played by Christopher Lloyd.
