''If You Won a Hundred Million'' (Italian: ''Se vincessi cento milioni'') is a 1953 Italian comedy film directed by Carlo Campogalliani and Carlo Moscovini and starring Tino Scotti, Nerio Bernardi and Anna Carena.Betz p.249 It is an anthology film split into several different episodes. Plot The fan A fan hopes that his favorite team will one day finish first in the standings. One day his requests are granted and, by betting, the young man wins a lot of money, with which he can go on vacation to Hawaii. The model A simple model is in love with a superior of her; she hopes she can win a nice nest egg to so join her beloved of hers. Anita Durante (28 September 1897 – 2 May 1994) was an Italian actress. Born Anita Bianchi in Rome into a humble family, after attending a dramatic society for several years Durante made her official debut on stage in 1919, in Ettore Petrolini's ''Romani de Roma''. Married with the actor Checco Durante, she stayed with the Petrolini's stage company nine years, then she formed a company with her husband. Also active in films, where she is best remembered as the Alberto Sordi's mother in ''Un americano a Roma'', Durante was active on stage until 1992. She died in 1994, aged 96, following an accidental fall from the balcony of her home, while cleaning the windows. Carlo Campanini (5 October 1906 – 20 November 1984), was an Italian actor, singer and comedian. He appeared in more than 120 films between 1939 and 1969. Life and career Born in Turin, Campanini attended a technical school and a course of singing, then he started his career at nineteen entering the company of prose Casaleggio, with whom he toured six months in Argentina. In the following years Campanini was cast as singer-comedian and even as a tenor in a number of revue and operetta companies.
