Raul Midón (born March 14, 1966) is an American singer-songwriter and guitarist from New Mexico. Biography Early life Midón was born prematurely in a rural hospital in Embudo, New Mexico, Embudo, New Mexico, to parents of Argentines, Argentine and African Americans, African-American descent. His father was a folkloric dancer from Argentina. Midón was raised Catholic Church, Catholic. Midon and his twin brother Marco were blind as infants after spending time in an wikt:incubator, incubator without adequate eye protection. The Metropole Orkest (Metropole Orchestra) is a jazz and pop orchestra based in the Netherlands, and is the largest full-time ensemble of its kind in the world. A hybrid orchestra, it is a combination of jazz, big band and symphony orchestra. A volunteer staff publishes news, album reviews, articles, videos, and listings of concerts and other events having to do with jazz.
