Ieropigi
Ieropigi ( el, Ιεροπηγή, before 1927: Κοστενέτσι - ''Kostenetsi'') is a village in Kastoria Regional Unit, Macedonia, Greece. The Greek census (1920) recorded 563 people in the village. Following the Greek-Turkish population exchange, in 1926 within Kostenetsi there were 11 refugee families from Pontus. The Greek census (1991) recorded 501 village inhabitants. There were 12 refugee families (53 people) in 1928. Kastraki, Kastoria
Kastraki ( el, Καστρακί) is a former community in Kastoria regional unit, West Macedonia, Greece. Since the 2011 local government reform it is part of the municipality Kastoria, of which it is a municipal unit. The municipal unit has an area of 78.415 km2. Population 560 (2011). The seat of the community was in Ieropigi. The other village in the community is Dendrochori. The village Agios Dimitrios (Labanitsa) is abandoned today. Kastoria ( el, Περιφερειακή Ενότητα Καστοριάς, ''Perifereiakí Enótita Kastoriás'') is one of the 74 regional units of Greece and is part of the region of Western Macedonia. Its capital is the homonymous city of Kastoria. Geography Kastoria is situated at the western end of Macedonia in the far north of the country. It borders the regional units of Florina to the north, Kozani to the southeast, Grevena to the south and Ioannina to the southwest. Population Exchange Between Greece And Turkey
The 1923 population exchange between Greece and Turkey ( el, Ἡ Ἀνταλλαγή, I Antallagí, ota, مبادله, Mübâdele, tr, Mübadele) stemmed from the "Convention Concerning the Exchange of Greek and Turkish Populations" signed at Lausanne, Switzerland, on 30 January 1923, by the governments of Kingdom of Greece, Greece and Turkey.
