''Idols South Africa X'' is the tenth season of the South African reality interactive talent show based on the British talent show ''Pop Idol''. The season's first show was aired on July 13, 2014. Auditions Auditions began in February and ended in March. They took place in Johannesburg, Durban, Cape Town and Pretoria. Gareth Cliff
Gareth Rhydal Cliff (born 26 August 1977) is a South African radio and television personality. He began his professional radio career at 702, and later became the host of the breakfast show on 5FM. During his career at 5FM, his show included a feature called The Hollywood Report with Jen Su. In January 2016 he won a court case to be reinstated as a judge on the television music competition show ''Idols South Africa'' on M-Net after being suspended for posting an allegedly racist remark on Twitter. CliffCentral In 2014, he launched CliffCentral, an online content hub that specialises in podcasting and online radio. The content is uncensored and free from the regulations of the Broadcasting Complaints Commission of South Africa (BCCSA). "A Sky Full of Stars" is a song by the British rock music, rock band Coldplay. It was released in May 2014 as the second single from their sixth album, ''Ghost Stories (Coldplay album), Ghost Stories'' (2014).
