Idol Project
is a short four-episode OVA ( Original Video Animation) series produced in 1995 by Studio OX. This anime follows a cute 14-year-old girl named Mimu Emilton, who dreams of becoming a singing idol, much like her own idol, Yuri. Yuri brought world peace through her music and became the world's president. Mimu has a chance to audition in her hometown of Starland in front of Yuri, with the help of 6 "Excellent Idols" (Yuri's successors). However, before Mimu has the chance to sing in front of Yuri, Yuri and the Excellent Idols are kidnapped by aliens and taken to another universe. The group lands on the Tropical Dimension's Bali Hawaii, where they are warmly welcomed. A competition is about to begin in two hours to raise Bali Hawaii's sun, and idols from all over space arrive to take part. It was adapted into a two-episode original video animation (OVA) anime in 1997, directed by Yasuchika Nagaoka. It was released in Japan by Studio OX, Movic and BMG Victor Japan. It has been released in North America by Central Park Media. Summary The Card Kingdom is a prominent land that is taken over by invaders and it is up to the Crown Knights to push back the invaders and protect their land with all their might. This anime has very little fan service compared to the director's previous works and instead of the cute magical girl genre, the focus is more action-oriented with styles similar to a shōnen series. is a manga series written by Wataru Yoshizumi. The romantic comedy series features 8th grader Ayu Tateishi, a tennis club member, and her transfer student friend, Nina Sakura, who is actually a trainee witch from the magical kingdom. It premiered in Shueisha's '' Ribon'' manga magazine in February 2001 and ran until January 2004. It was also published in five collected volumes by Shueisha. ''Burn-Up W'' is a 1996 anime OVA directed by Hiroshi Negishi. It was soon followed by a series version called ''Burn-Up Excess'', though it occasionally lacks continuity with the series. The OVA consists of four episodes, chronicling Team Warrior through more missions. Like the original series, there is still a large amount of fan service. Plot Burn Up W is about the adventures of Team Warrior, a band of highly skilled and completely reckless female cops.
