Iddaru Pellalu
''Iddaru Pellalu'' () is a 1954 Indian Telugu-language drama film, produced and directed by F. Nagur. It stars N. T. Rama Rao and Jamuna, with music composed by T. R. Papa, T. K. Kumara Swamy & T. A. Kalyan Raman. Plot The film begins with Zamindar living with his wife Radha, the couple is perturbed as they are childless. Once Zamindar is acquainted with a dancer Pushpa at Madras in an accident who ensnares him with the help of her acolyte Appala Swamy. Right now, Zamindar convinces Radha and marries Pushpa. Thereafter, Pushpa corrals Zamindar to take over the authority. Time passes, and Radha becomes pregnant when vicious Pushpa throws the newborn baby into the dustbin and claims it is a miscarriage. Here Ramudu a sweeper rears the boy by the name of Mallaiah. As Ramudu's wife Lachi works at Zamindar's house, Mallaiah daily accompanies his mother where Radha develops unknown affection for him. Jamuna (actress)
Jamuna (born 30 August 1936) is an Indian actress, director and politician who appeared mainly in Telugu films. She made her acting debut at the age of 16 in Dr. Garikapati Rajarao's ''Puttillu'' (1953), and received her breakthrough with L. V. Prasad ''Missamma'' (1955). Her filmography also includes Tamil, Kannada, and Hindi films. She won a Filmfare Award and an award at Filmfare Awards South. She was a Member of Parliament in the 9th Lok Sabha (1989–1991) representing the Rajahmundry constituency. Early life Jamuna was born in Hampi of present-day Karnataka to Nippani Srinivasa Rao and Kowsalya Devi. Jamuna was named Jana Bai. Kasturi Siva Rao (6 March 1913 - 24 February 1966) was an Indian actor, comedian, playback singer, producer and director known for his works in Telugu cinema. Madhavapeddi Satyam (11 March 1922 – 18 December 2000) was an Indian playback singer and actor who predominantly worked in Telugu cinema. He entered films as a singer-actor in Y. V. Rao's Tamil-Hindi bilingual movie ''Ramadas'' in the year 1946, playing the role of Kabir. However, he became more popular as a playback singer due to his booming voice. His voice suited artists like S. V. Ranga Rao, Relangi and Ramana Reddy. He also sang for others like Akkineni Nageswara Rao, N.T. Rama Rao, Jaggayya and Padmanabham. Ghantasala Venkateswararao (4 December 1922 – 11 February 1974), known mononymously by his surname as Ghantasala, was an Indian playback singer and film composer known for his works predominantly in Telugu and Kannada cinema and also in Tamil, Malayalam, Tulu and Hindi language films. He is considered as one of the greatest singers of Telugu cinema. In 1970, he received the Padma Shri award, India's fourth highest civilian award for his contribution to Indian cinema.
