Idaho Comics Group (ICG) is an independent comic book publishing company from Boise, Idaho that was founded in 2014, which publishes the officially licensed '' Tarzan and the Comics of Idaho'' anthology and ''Idaho Comics.'' The anthologies benefit the Boise Public Library and to bring attention to comic book writers and artists from the state of Idaho. History On September 12, 2014, Idaho Comics Group was featured in a Comic Book Resources article. Dennis Eichhorn
Dennis P. Eichhorn (August 19, 1945 – October 8, 2015) was an American writer, best known for his adult-oriented autobiographical comic book series ''Real Stuff''. His stories, often involving, sex, drugs, and alcohol, have been compared to those of Jack Kerouac, Ken Kesey, and Charles Bukowski. Biography Early life and career Eichhorn was born in Deer Lodge, Montana, in the infirmary of Montana State Prison. He was adopted when he was a few days old by Eileen and Elmer Eichhorn, and reared in Boise, Idaho. He graduated from Boise's Borah High School in 1963. ''Cars'' is a Computer-generated imagery, CGI-animated film series and Disney media franchise set in a world populated by anthropomorphic vehicles created by John Lasseter, Joe Ranft and Jorgen Klubien. The Spirit
The Spirit is a fictional masked crimefighter created by cartoonist Will Eisner. He first appeared June 2, 1940, as the main feature of a 16-page, tabloid (paper size), tabloid-sized, newsprint comic book insert distributed in the Sunday edition of Register and Tribune Syndicate newspapers; it was ultimately carried by 20 Sunday newspapers, with a combined circulation of five million copies during the 1940s. "The Spirit Section", as the insert was popularly known, continued until October 5, 1952. It generally included two other four-page strips (initially ''Mr. Mystic'' and ''Lady Luck (comics), Lady Luck''), plus filler material. Will Eisner
William Erwin Eisner (March 6, 1917 – January 3, 2005) was an American cartoonist, writer, and entrepreneur. He was one of the earliest cartoonists to work in the American comic book industry, and his series ''The Spirit'' (1940–1952) was noted for its experiments in content and form. In 1978, he popularized the term "graphic novel" with the publication of his book ''A Contract with God''. He was an early contributor to formal comics studies with his book '' Comics and Sequential Art'' (1985). ''Weirdo'' was a magazine-sized comics anthology created by Robert Crumb and published by Last Gasp from 1981 to 1993. Featuring cartoonists both new and old, ''Weirdo'' served as a "low art" counterpoint to its contemporary highbrow ''Raw'', co-edited by Art Spiegelman. The Swamp Thing is a superhero in American comic books published by DC Comics.
