Ibrahima Gueye (footballer, Born 1978)
Ibrahima Gueye (born 19 February 1978) is a Senegalese former professional footballer who played as a defender. Career Gueye started his professional playing career with Dakar UC in Senegal before joining another Senegalese club, AS Douanes. During the summer of 2001, he made his first step into European football as he signed a contract with Bulgarian record title holder CSKA Sofia. Gueye won two national titles during his spell at CSKA Sofia, in 2003 and 2005. Gueye was later transferred to Turkish Second Division side Samsunspor in February 2006, only to sign with Serbian club Red Star six months later. In the winter of 2009, he joined Al-Ahli Jeddah. After playing for Lokeren for 3 years, he then signed a one-year contract with Serbian side Radnicki Niš. Pikine
Pikine is a city in the Pikine Department of the Dakar Region of Senegal. Lying to the east of Dakar city centre, at the 2013 Census it had a population of 1,170,791. The department includes the villages of Yeumbeul, Thiaroye, Mbao, and Keur Massar Malika. Until the mid-2000s, it also included Guédiawaye, which now forms a separate Department. The city was founded in 1952 by the colonial government for former residents of Dakar who were relocated for new developments. Serbian Cup
The Serbian Cup (Serbian: Куп Србије, Kup Srbije) is the national football cup of Serbia. The winner of the competition gets a spot in the UEFA Europa League qualifying round. From 2006 to 2010, the competition was known as the Lav Cup for sponsorship reasons. History Serbia's cup tournament is the legal successor to the Serbia and Montenegro Cup and in turn of the Yugoslav Cup. This cup tournament lasted for four seasons up until the dissolution of the state union of Serbia and Montenegro in 2006. The tournament was dominated by Serbian clubs with no Montenegrin sides reaching the final. Belgrade giants Red Star were easily the most successful club reaching the final all four years winning twice and losing in the final the other two seasons. 2006–07 Serbian SuperLiga
The 2006–07 Serbian SuperLiga (known as the Meridian SuperLiga for sponsorship reasons) season started on 5 August 2006. The winners were Red Star Belgrade with their 25th title. FK Zemun and FK Voždovac were relegated to the 2nd league of Serbia. The SuperLiga will change format from next season with the league no longer being divided into title and relegation groups midway through the campaign. The 2002–03 A Group was the 55th season of the top Bulgarian national football league (commonly referred to as ''A Group'') and the 79th edition of a Bulgarian national championship tournament. Overview It was contested by 14 teams, and CSKA Sofia won the championship. The Reds finished with 66 points in total, six points above archrivals Levski Sofia. CSKA Sofia qualified for the 2003-04 Champions League qualifying rounds, while Levski and third placed Litex Lovech qualified for the UEFA Cup for next season.
