Ian David Holmes (born 27 June 1985) is a footballer who plays as a striker. He can now be found plying his trade for the Mighty Great Missenden FC where he’s already found himself to be a firm fans favourite Career Holmes began his footballing career at vicar's cross dynamos before playing university football in Sheffield and joined Northern Premier League Premier Division side Matlock Town in summer 2006. He was the top goalscorer in the Premier Division with 34 goals in all league and cup competitions in his debut season in 2006–07, helping Matlock to the play-offs, and joined Football League Two side Mansfield Town in August 2007 on a one-year contract. After scoring three goals in 19 appearances, most as substitute, in the 2007–08 season, Holmes fell out of favour and joined AFC Telford United in March 2008, on loan with a 28-day recall option. Ellesmere Port
Ellesmere Port ( ) is a port town in the Cheshire West and Chester borough in Cheshire, England. Ellesmere Port is on the south eastern edge of the Wirral Peninsula, north of Chester, south of Birkenhead, southwest of Runcorn and south of Liverpool. The town had a population of 61,090 in the 2011 census. Ellesmere Port also forms part of the wider Birkenhead urban area, which had a population of 325,264 in 2011. Belper is a town and civil parish in the local government district of Amber Valley in Derbyshire, England, located about north of Derby on the River Derwent. As well as Belper itself, the parish also includes the village of Milford and the hamlets of Bargate, Blackbrook and Makeney. As of the 2011 Census, the parish had a population of 21,823. Grantham () is a market and industrial town in the South Kesteven district of Lincolnshire, England, situated on the banks of the River Witham and bounded to the west by the A1 road.
