Ian Clark (basketball)
Ian Patrick Clark (born March 7, 1991) is an American professional basketball player who last played for the Adelaide 36ers of the Australian National Basketball League (NBL). He played college basketball at Belmont University. As a senior, he was the 2012–13 Ohio Valley Conference Co-Player of the Year with Murray State's Isaiah Canaan. Clark was third in the nation in three-point field goal shooting percentage and led the Bruins to the conference championship in the school's first year as an OVC member. In July 2013, Clark signed a two-year contract with the Jazz after his performance at the Las Vegas Summer League impressed numerous teams. Clark won an NBA Championship with the Warriors in 2017. Ian Clark is an English film director and screenwriter. Early life Ian Clark was raised in Disley, Cheshire, the son of Monica Clark (née Holt), a teacher and lecturer and Michael (Mick) Clark, an IT Manager. He was educated at Poynton High School, Cheshire, and later went on to study Fine Art at Manchester Metropolitan University and Graphic Design and Animation at Staffordshire University. It was at university that he started to develop an interest in film making. Clark is a professor in the Department of Earth Sciences at the University of Ottawa (Canada), who has been publishing research on geoscience, groundwater and geochemistry since 1982, and is currently teaching GEO 1111 with David Schneider.
