Ian Cooper (Australian Footballer, Born 1946)
Ian Charles Cooper (2 April 1946 – 14 December 2021) was a former Australian rules footballer who played for St Kilda in the Victorian Football League during the 1960s. In a retrospective poll by a team of experts, Cooper was voted best on the field in the 1966 VFL Grand Final, which St Kilda won. It was St Kilda's first and (as of 2020) only VFL/AFL premiership by a margin of one point over Collingwood. Cooper's VFL career was cut short by rheumatic fever. In 1970 and 1971, Cooper played for Swan Districts in the West Australian National Football League, and was a Western Australian state representative player. In 1972, he returned to Victoria and became a prominent full forward with the Sandringham Football Club in the Victorian Football Association, where he played 35 games and kicked 73 goals. Ian Cooper (Australian Footballer, Born 1954)
Ian D. Cooper (born 12 June 1954) is a former Australian rules footballer who played with Collingwood in the Victorian Football League (VFL). From East Reservoir, Cooper came to Collingwood as a forward but was used as a back pocket defender during his time in the VFL. He played his first game in 1972 but didn't establish a place in the team until 1974, keeping Peter Hudson goal-less in Round 2 of 1974, and was a regular until 1977. Injuries restricted him to just 14 games in his final four seasons. He was however, despite having played just three times all year, selected in the 1981 VFL Grand Final. Ian Edward Cooper (born in Durham, England) is a retired British ice hockey player. He is a member of the British Ice Hockey Hall of Fame and is the younger brother of fellow Hall of Fame member, Stephen Cooper. He has a daughter and son named Lola and Felix Cooper. He is married to Ruth Cooper. Playing career . Club Cooper started his senior ice hockey career with the Durham Wasps during the 1984–85 season when he was still playing junior ice hockey with the Wasps' junior team, the Durham Hornets. Appearing for the Wasps 30 times that season, he scored just three goals. Ian Cooper (born 14 August 1970) is an Australian violinist. He was commissioned to compose and perform the "Tin Symphony" for the opening ceremony of the Games of the XXVII Olympiad in Sydney. The event was televised worldwide with an estimated 2.85 billion viewers.
