Iago Dias
Iago Ângelo Dias (born 6 April 1993), known as lago or Iago Dias is a Brazilian footballer who plays for Náutico as a forward. Club career Born in São João Nepomuceno, Minas Gerais, Iago Dias represented Palmeiras as a youth before moving to Atibaia in 2012. In 2014, he moved to Grêmio Barueri, and made his senior debut on 20 February of that year by coming on as a late substitute in a 0–1 Campeonato Paulista Série A2 away loss against Batatais. On 21 December 2015 Iago Dias returned to his former club Atibaia. He was an undisputed starter for the club during the Campeonato Paulista Série A3 championship, scoring six goals in 22 matches as his side reached the latter stages of the tournament. On 22 June 2016, Iago Dias signed a one-year loan deal with Série A side Coritiba, after impressing on a trial period. Campeonato Paulista Série A3
Campeonato Paulista Série A3 (also referred to as Paulistão A3 for short) is the third level of the São Paulo state professional football championship, one of the Brazilian state championships. The tournament has been known as Série A3 since the 1993-94 season. Structure The current format of the Paulistão A3 was introduced in 2018, after the number of teams was decreased from 20 to 16. Two teams are promoted to Série A2, and the bottom two teams are relegated to Campeonato Paulista Segunda Divisão. First stage Each of the 16 competitors play each other once in the first stage of the competition, for a total of 15 matches between mid-January and early-April. A win earns three points and a draw earns one point. Teams are ranked by total points, then by total wins and finally by goal difference, number of scored goals, lower number of yellow and red cards taken. The CONMEBOL Sudamericana, named as ''Copa Sudamericana'' (; pt, Copa Sul-Americana ), is an annual international club football competition organized by CONMEBOL since 2002. It is the second-most prestigious club competition in South American football. CONCACAF clubs were invited between 2004 and 2008. The CONMEBOL Sudamericana began in 2002, replacing the separate competitions Copa Merconorte and Copa Mercosur (that had replaced Copa CONMEBOL) by a single competition. Since its introduction, the competition has been a pure elimination tournament with the number of rounds and teams varying from year to year. The 2016 Copa Sudamericana ( pt, Copa Sul-Americana 2016) was the 15th edition of the Copa Sudamericana, South America's secondary club football tournament organized by CONMEBOL. The finals were originally to be played between Brazilian team Chapecoense and Colombian team Atlético Nacional. However, on 28 November 2016, LaMia Flight 2933, which was carrying the Chapecoense squad to the first leg, crashed on the way to the José María Córdova International Airport. There were 71 fatalities, including 19 of the 22 Chapecoense players on the plane. CONMEBOL immediately suspended all activities, including the scheduled final matches, in the early morning of 29 November. In light of these events, Atlético Nacional requested that CONMEBOL award the title to Chapecoense.
