Mircea Daneliuc
Mircea Daneliuc (; born 7 April 1943) is a Romanian film director, screenwriter and actor. He has directed 19 films since 1975. In 1993 his film '' The Conjugal Bed'' was entered into the 43rd Berlin International Film Festival. Two years later, his film '' The Snails' Senator'' was entered into the 1995 Cannes Film Festival. As one of the most prominent Romanian film directors of the 1980s, his films mixed realism and parables, enabling him to convey uncensored criticism towards the communist regime. Dorel Vișan
Dorel Vișan (; born 25 June 1937) is a Romanian actor. He has appeared in 65 films since 1974. He was nominated for the award of Best Actor at the 1988 European Film Awards. He was born in Tăușeni, Cluj County. In 1965 he graduated from the Caragiale Academy of Theatrical Arts and Cinematography in Bucharest. After graduating, he was hired as an actor at the Cluj-Napoca National Theatre. In May 2012 Vișan was awarded the National Order of Faithful Service, Knight rank by then-President Ion Iliescu. Ioan Fiscuteanu (; 19 November 1937 – 8 December 2007) was a Romanian theater and film actor. He last worked at the in Târgu Mureș. Fiscuteanu was born in Sânmihaiu de Câmpie, Bistrița-Năsăud County. He graduated from the I.L. Caragiale Institute of Theatre and Film Arts in Bucharest in 1962. Livia Drusilla (30 January 59 BC – 28 September AD 29) was a Roman empress from 27 BC to AD 14 as the wife of Emperor Augustus Caesar. She was known as Julia Augusta after her formal adoption into the Julian family in AD 14. Livia was the daughter of Roman Senator Marcus Livius Drusus Claudianus and his wife Alfidia. She married Tiberius Claudius Nero around 43 BC, and they had two sons, Tiberius and Drusus. In 38 BC, she divorced Tiberius Claudius Nero and married the political leader Octavian. The Senate granted Octavian the title ''Augustus'' in 27 BC, effectively making him emperor. Livia then became the Roman empress. In this role, she served as an influential confidant of her husband and was rumored to have been responsible for the deaths of a number of Augustus' relatives, including his grandson Agrippa Postumus. Florin Zamfirescu
Florin Zamfirescu (; born 12 April 1949) is a Romanian theatre and film actor and director, and university professor. Zamfirescu was born in Călimănești, Vâlcea County; his grandfather, Gheorghe Zamfirescu, was mayor of the town. He graduated from the Caragiale National University of Theatre and Film in Bucharest in 1971. From 1971 to 1973, he was an actor in the Municipal Theatre of Târgu Mureș, and subsequently moved to the Odeon Theatre in Bucharest. From 1974 to 1978 he was an instructor Caragiale National University; in 1996 he became a professor, and from 2000 to 2008 he served as rector of the university. In 2002 he received Ph.D. in Arts, with thesis "Acting or Magic". In 2014 he was let go from the Odeon Theatre by its director, . Ion Besoiu
Ion Besoiu (; 11 March 1931 – 18 January 2017) was a Romanian actor. Biography He was born in Sibiu in 1931 and graduated the city's Theater and Music Academy. After making his debut in 1957, he played for 16 years at the Radu Stanca National Theatre in Sibiu. He then moved to Bucharest, where he played at the Bulandra Theatre. He later served for 12 years as director of this well-known theatre. Besoiu appeared in some of the most important Romanian films from the Communist period: "Furtuna", "Neamul Șoimăreștilor", "Haiducii", "Răscoala", "Mihai Viteazul", "Ciprian Porumbescu", "Păcală", "Blestemul pământului, blestemul iubirii", "Ultima noapte de dragoste", "Lumini și umbre", "Ce neagră e mama", and "Toate pânzele sus!". He died at Fundeni Hospital in Bucharest in 2017; he is buried at the city's Bellu Cemetery.
