I Colpevoli
''I colpevoli'' (french: Responsabilité limitée, ''The Guilty'') is a 1957 Italian-French drama film directed by Turi Vasile. It is based on the comedy play ''Sulle strade di notte'' by Renato Lelli. Plot Valerio Rossello is a judge, with a rigid and uncompromising mentality. He is married to Lucia, a woman who instead follows the model of a loving and protective mother. From their union only one child was born: Maurizio. Both parents raise him completely differently, highlighting their character differences. Until the day when Maurizio, now a teenager, together with a friend commits an attack for futile reasons against a gas station attendant. Having learned of the incident, Valerio and Lucia also in this case intend to face the situation in a diametrically opposite way. The conflicts within the family thus strongly resurface, in which, amidst rebounds of responsibility, the errors of both parents emerge in the upbringing of their child. Turi Vasile
Turi Vasile (22 March 1922 - 1 September 2009) was an Italian producer, director, playwright, screenwriter, film critic and author. Life and career Born in Messina, Sicily, Vasile started working as a playwright and a theatre director in the early 1940s. After being assistant of Augusto Genina, starting from the mid-1940s he wrote a number of screenplays for films directed by Mario Camerini, Eduardo De Filippo, Gianni Franciolini and Alessandro Blasetti. From the 1950s Vasile focused into producing, and produced many art films by notable directors such as Federico Fellini, Michelangelo Antonioni, Dino Risi, Luigi Comencini, Antonio Pietrangeli, Franco Brusati. He was also active as a film director, a film critic and an author, and he was president of the National Institute of Ancient Drama. Isa Miranda (born Ines Isabella Sampietro; 5 July 1909 – 8 July 1982) was an Italian actress with an international film career. Biography Miranda was born Ines Isabella Sampietro in Milan, the daughter of atreet car conductor in Mian. When she was 10 years old, she began working as an errand girl for a dressmaker. She later had jobs in a box factory and a handbag factory. When she was 15, she was a model, a job that provided enough income for her to learn bookkeeping and typing in night school. Carlo Innocenzi (29 April 1899 – 24 March 1962) was an Italian composer. Vittorio De Sica ( , ; 7 July 1901 – 13 November 1974) was an Italian film director and actor, a leading figure in the neorealist movement.
