Eric Howard Carmen (born August 11, 1949) is an American singer, songwriter, guitarist, and keyboardist. He was first known as the lead vocalist of the Raspberries. He had numerous hit songs in the 1970s and 1980s, first as a member of the Raspberries (who had a million-selling single with " Go All the Way"), and then with his solo career, including hits such as "All by Myself", "Never Gonna Fall in Love Again", "She Did It", "Hungry Eyes", and " Make Me Lose Control". Thelma Louise Mandrell (born July 13, 1954) is an American country music singer. She is the younger sister of fellow country singer Barbara Mandrell, and older sister of actress Irlene Mandrell. ''Eric Carmen'' is the fifth album by rock and roll musician Eric Carmen. It was also his second self-titled LP after the 1975 album of the same name. The album spent ten weeks on the U.S. ''Billboard'' album charts and reached its peak position of #128 in early March 1985. It contained one Top 40 hit single, "I Wanna Hear It from Your Lips," which peaked at #35 on the ''Billboard Hot 100'' in the same month. The song was also a medium adult contemporary hit in both the United States (#10) and Canada (#17). "Spotlight" was featured as the B side of the 45 RPM.
