I Walk Among You
''I Walk Among You'' is a single by the American heavy metal band Iced Earth. Released on June 13, 2008, the single marked the return of long-time vocalist Matt Barlow, who originally left the band in 2003, but later returned in 2007. ''I Walk Among You'' features four songs. A new song titled "I Walk Alone" (which was later included on the band's next full-length album '' The Crucible of Man'') as well as three previously released songs re-sung by Barlow, all of which have also been remixed and re-mastered. One of the previously released songs, "A Charge to Keep", was initially released exclusively through the iTunes version of the single, although it later appeared on the ''Box of the Wicked'' compilation some time later. A music video was also planned for the track "I Walk Alone", but due to some unknown issues with record company SPV, the plan never materialized. Iced Earth is an American heavy metal band formed in Tampa, Florida and currently based in Columbus, Indiana. They were formed in 1984 under the name the Rose, then Purgatory, by guitarist and main songwriter Jon Schaffer and original drummer Greg Seymour. Iced Earth released their debut album in 1990 and have since released twelve studio albums, four EPs, three compilations, three box sets, three live albums and eleven music videos. After releasing the demo EP ''Enter the Realm'' (1989) and signing to Century Media Records, the band released two full-length studio albums – '' Iced Earth'' (1990) and ''Night of the Stormrider'' (1991) – before taking a two-year hiatus from 1992 to 1994, after which the band returned with new lead vocalist Matt Barlow. Dennis Hayes (bassist)
Dennis Hayes is an American bass guitarist, currently playing for Beyond Fear. Hayes began his career with the heavy metal band Wretch. Later he was a founding member of the Progressive Heavy Metal band Castle Black with other former members of Wretch, Nick Giannakos (Lead Guitar) and Drummer, Jeff Currenton. It was during this time where he began a long association with Tim "Ripper" Owens, as Castle Black and Winter's Bane often played the same venues around Northeastern Ohio. Hayes eventually was offered, and accepted, membership in Winter's Bane. Both Hayes and Owens performed on Winter's Bane's 1993 debut album Heart of a Killer. Dennis also played in the Heavy metal band Seven Witches from 2004 to 2005, but left to form Beyond Fear together with Owens, a side project to the singer's role in Iced Earth.
