I Remember You (2015 Film)
''I Remember You'' is a 2015 American romantic drama film written and directed by Claudia Sparrow. It stars Stefanie Butler and Joe Egender as two people who come to believe they are destined to fall in love. It premiered at the Downtown Film Festival on July 22, 2015, and was released theatrically on November 13, 2015. Plot After Leah, a scientist, saves the life of Samuel, an actor, their lives change dramatically. Samuel comes to believe that they have always been destined to fall in love and eventually convinces Leah of his metaphysical ideas. Joe Egender
Joe Egender (born 1976/77), is an American actor, producer, and screenwriter. He is best known for his collaborations with The Butcher Brothers, '' Holy Ghost People'', and his television roles. Career Film Egender has made several films with The Butcher Brothers (Mitchell Altieri and Phil Flores). Their first collaboration was ''Lurking in Suburbia'' (2004); Don R. Lewis of '' Film Threat'' wrote of Egender's starring performance, "He reminds me of a less whiny Giovanni Ribisi and, mark my words, this performance will gain him some big roles." Egender had a cameo in their next film, '' The Hamiltons'' (2006), and a larger supporting role in ''The Violent Kind'' (2010). Matteo Marchisano-Adamo
Matteo Marchisano-Adamo (born February 19, 1973) is an American filmmaker, sound designer, film editor, composer. He was born in Flint, Michigan. Biography Matteo Marchisano-Adamo's mother is Sicilian and his father is from Buenos Aires, Argentina. As a child he studied ballet, eventually being offered a scholarship to study in New York City, which was never pursued. Marchisano-Adamo also played the violin as a child. As a teenager he studied piano with the Brazilian pianist Caio Pagano. From 1991-1995 Marchisano-Adamo studied music at the Franz Liszt Academy of Music in Budapest, Hungary with Ferenc Rados and Balázs Szokolay. It was in Budapest that he discovered atonal, electronic music, and serial composition. György Kurtág, György Ligeti, Karlheinz Stockhausen, La Monte Young, Terry Riley, Steve Reich, and John Cage are some of his influences. Bechdel Test
The Bechdel test ( ) is a measure of the representation of women in film (and, by extension, in fiction in general). The test asks whether a film features at least two women talking to each other about something other than a man. The measure sometimes is enhanced by adding that the two female characters be named in the film. Passing or failing the test is not necessarily indicative of how well women are represented in any specific work. Rather, the test is used as an indicator for the active presence of women in the entire field of film and other fiction, and to call attention to gender inequality in fiction. Media industry studies indicate that films that pass the test perform better financially than those that do not.
