''I Love Sarah Jane'' is a 2008 Australian zombie horror short film directed by Spencer Susser and written by David Michôd and Spencer Susser. The film had its world premiere at the Sundance Film Festival on 15 January 2008. In 2011, the short was reported to be under development to be turned into a feature film. Plot Jimbo is 13 and can think of only one girl—Sarah Jane. And no matter what stands in his way-bullies, violence, chaos, or zombies-nothing will stop him from finding a way into her world. Spencer Susser
Spencer Susser (born 1977) is an American film director, screenwriter and producer. Susser is the only American member of the Australian filmmaking collective Blue-Tongue Films. His short film '' I Love Sarah Jane'', featuring Mia Wasikowska, won Best Narrative Short at the 2008 Nashville Film Festival, the Reel Frontier Merit Award at the Arizona International Film Festival, and the Canal+ Award at the Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival. Susser co-wrote the project with David Michôd. In February 2011, it was reported that Susser is developing a feature-length film based on the short. ''Wholphin'' was a quarterly DVD magazine containing a selection of short films which had little or no exposure elsewhere. The magazine was created by Dave Eggers and Brent Hoff of McSweeney's publishing house. It was named after the marine animal of the same name, a rare hybrid of a false killer whale and a dolphin, which highlights its unusual nature. The Telluride Film Festival (TFF) is a film festival held annually in Telluride, Colorado during Labor Day weekend (the first Monday in September). The 49th edition took place on September 2 -6, 2022.
