Dag Johan Haugerud
Dag Johan Haugerud (born 30 December 1964) is a Norwegian librarian, novelist, screenwriter and film director. His novels include ''Noe med natur'' (1999), ''Den som er veldig sterk, må også være veldig snill'' (2002), ''Hva jeg betyr'' (2011) and ''Enkle atonale stykker for barn'' (2016). He has created several short films, including ''Utukt'' from 2000 and ''Trøbbel'' from 2006. His first feature film was the 2012 film '' I Belong'' (''Som du ser meg''), which won Amanda Awards in 2013 for best film, best script (Haugerud), best director (Haugerud) and best actress (Laila Goody). The Nordic Council Film Prize is an annual film prize administered by the Nordic Council. The Nordisk Film & TV Fond is the funding body that administers the prize. History The first award was handed out in 2002 to celebrate the Nordic Council's 50th anniversary. Since 2005 the prize has been annual. Description The Nordisk Film & TV Fond is secretariat to the Nordic Council. It is funded by 22 partners: the Nordic Council of Ministers; five national film institutes; and 16 public and private media companies. Norwegian International Film Festival
The Norwegian International Film Festival ( no, Den norske filmfestivalen) is a film festival held annually in Haugesund, Norway. The festival goes back to 1973. In 1985, the Amanda award was instituted. The Amanda is awarded every year at the festival in different movie categories. The award is a sculpture by the Norwegian sculptor Kristian Kvakland, measuring 30 cm (12") and weighing 2.5 kg (5.5 lb). Laila Goody
Laila Elin Goody (born 22 March 1971) is a Norwegian actress. She was born to an English father who worked in the oil industry and a Norwegian mother. She was born in Stavanger and grew up in Rosendal, Hordaland between the ages of two to ten, before returning to Stavanger. Here she attended Stavanger Katedralskole. After graduating from the Norwegian National Academy of Theatre in 1994, she began working at the National Theatre. After nine years at this theatre she decided to take a break, and in 2003 she moved on to do guest performances at Trøndelag Teater and Centralteatret.
