I Am Arrows
I Am Arrows is an indie rock band founded by former Razorlight drummer Andy Burrows in June 2009. Eleven days after he left Razorlight, it was revealed that Burrows had signed to Universal Records – the same record label as his ex-band. Live Although Andy wrote and recorded the album by himself, the band includes his younger brother, Ben (bass & backing vocals), brothers Adam and Ben Chetwood (lead guitar & drums respectively) and Nick Hill (guitar & backing vocals) The band played a summer residency at the Old Blue Last pub in Shoreditch through June and July 2010 and also played the Wickerman festival, along with supporting Muse at Stade De France in Paris and at the Wembley stadium in September. Indie Pop
Indie pop (also typeset as indie-pop or indiepop) is a music genre and subculture that combines guitar pop with DIY ethic in opposition to the style and tone of mainstream pop music. It originated from British post-punk in the late 1970s and subsequently generated a thriving fanzine, Independent record label, label, and club and gig circuit. Compared to its counterpart, indie rock, the genre is more melodic, less abrasive, and relatively angst-free. Razorlight
Razorlight are an English indie rock band, formed in 2002 in London by lead singer and guitarist Johnny Borrell. Along with Borrell, the current line-up of the band is composed of founding members Björn Ågren on guitar and bassist Carl Delemo, as well as drummer Andy Burrows. This lineup is a reunion of the lineup from the band's second and third albums. The band have gone through several line-up changes, with Borrell remaining the sole permanent member. We Are Scientists is a New York City-based rock band that formed in Berkeley, California, in 1999. It consists primarily of guitarist and vocalist Keith Murray and bass guitarist Chris Cain, with drummer Keith Carne joining the band in the studio and for live performances since 2013. Andy Burrows
Andrew William Burrows (born 30 June 1979) is an English songwriter and musician. He's best known as the drummer for Razorlight from 2004 until 2009 before rejoining in 2021. He's also served as the drummer for We Are Scientists from 2009 to 2014. After he left Razorlight in 2009, Burrows went on to enjoy success as a solo artist and a soundtrack composer. Biography Early life Burrows was born on 30 June 1979 in Winchester and he was educated at The Westgate School. He stated that the first albums he bought were ''Bad'' by Michael Jackson and a compilation album titled ''Ballads'' by The Beatles. Editors are an English rock band, formed in 2002 in Birmingham. Teenage Cancer Trust is a cancer care and support charity in the UK that exists to improve the cancer experience of young people aged 13–24.
