ISU Junior Grand Prix In Germany
The ISU Junior Grand Prix in Germany (often titled german: Pokal der Blauen Schwerter; ''Blue Swords'') is an international figure skating competition. Sanctioned by the International Skating Union, it is held in the autumn in some years as part of the JGP series. Medals may be awarded in the disciplines of men's singles, ladies' singles, pair skating, and ice dancing. ISU Junior Grand Prix
The ISU Junior Grand Prix of Figure Skating (titled the ISU Junior Series in the 1997–98 season) is a series of international junior-level competitions organized by the International Skating Union. Medals are awarded in the disciplines of men's singles, ladies' singles, pair skating, and ice dancing. The series was inaugurated in 1997 to complement the senior-level ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating. Skaters earn qualifying points at each Junior Grand Prix event and the six highest-ranking qualifiers meet at the ISU Junior Grand Prix Final, which is held concurrently with the Grand Prix of Figure Skating Final. Brandon Mroz
Brandon Mroz (born December 22, 1990) is an American former competitive figure skater. He is the 2009 U.S. silver medalist and the 2006 & 2007 Junior Grand Prix Final silver medalist. He is the first skater to have completed a quadruple Lutz jump in a sanctioned competition. Personal life Brandon Mroz was born in St. Louis, Missouri, one of four brothers. His mother and a brother suffered serious injuries in a car accident. Mroz's mother was at one time a synchronized skater, and his father an ice hockey player. Mroz has expressed interest in becoming a dentist. Career Early career Mroz began skating at age 3 and a half. He was coached by Shannon Nester and Debbie Howe from 2001 through 2004 and by Doug Leigh and Michelle Leigh in Barrie, Ontario, from 2002 through 2004. The 2007–08 ISU Junior Grand Prix was the 11th season of the ISU Junior Grand Prix, a series of international junior level competitions organized by the International Skating Union. Alexander Uspenski
Alexander Sergeyevich Uspenski (russian: Александр Серге́евич Успенский; born 25 April 1987) is a Russian former competitive figure skater. He is the 2006 Finlandia Trophy silver medalist and 2004 ISU Junior Grand Prix Final bronze medalist. Personal life Alexander Uspenski was born on 25 April 1987 in Moscow. He is the elder brother of Vladimir Uspenski, who also competed in figure skating. Career Alexander Uspenski began competing on the ISU Junior Grand Prix (JGP) circuit in 2001. Over the course of five seasons, he would win seven medals – three gold, two silver, and two bronze – and qualify three times to the ISU Junior Grand Prix Final. Jamal Othman
Jamal Aziz Othman (born 13 August 1986 in Worb, Canton of Bern) is a Swiss former competitive figure skater. He is the 2009 Swiss national champion and a five-time (2002, 2005–2007, 2010) national silver medalist. Career Othman began skating at age six after previously trying gymnastics and rock and roll dancing. He was the 1999 Swiss Novice Champion and the 2000 and 2001 Swiss Junior Champion. He qualified for three Junior Grand Prix Finals, withdrawing from one due to a foot injury, and competed four times at Junior Worlds. Tomáš Verner (; born 3 June 1986) is a former Czech figure skater. He is the 2008 European champion, a medalist at two other European Championships (2007 silver, 2011 bronze), and a ten-time (2002–2004, 2006–2008, 2011–2014) Czech national champion. Sergei Vladimirovich Dobrin (russian: Серге́й Владимирович Добрин, born 22 September 1986) is a Russian former competitive figure skater. He is the 2005 World Junior bronze medalist and a two-time ISU Junior Grand Prix Final silver medalist. On the senior level, he won bronze medals at the 2006 Trophée Éric Bompard, 2006 Finlandia Trophy, and two Russian Championships (2006 and 2007).
