Inheaven
Inheaven were an English four-piece alternative band from South London. Formed in 2014, the band released their first single "Regeneration" in 2015 via Julian Casablancas' label Cult Records. The single was supported by BBC Radio 1/BBC6 Music DJs Annie Mac, Phil Taggart, Steve Lamacq and Chris Hawkins. The band were featured in ''DIY'' and XFM's ones to watch for 2016 with ''NME'' heralding them "one of the UK’s most exciting new bands". The band also topped ''DIY''s readers poll in 2016 coming in first place for Track of the Year, second for band of the year and fourth best live act of the year. They spent the majority of 2016 and 2017 supporting acts such as Sundara Karma, Circa Waves, Jamie T, Blossoms, Yak and The Magic Gang and played a number of international festivals including Reading and Leeds, Glastonbury and Bilbao BBK live finishing the year with a sold out headline show at London Scala. DIY (magazine)
''DIY'' is a United Kingdom-based music publication, in print and online. Its free print edition is released monthly with a physical circulation of 40,000 in UK venues, clubs and shops. DIY Magazine ''DIY'' was launched in 2002 by then-editor Stephen Ackroyd & Emma Swann as an online-only publication called This Is Fake DIY, named after a song by Scottish indie pop band Bis and staffed largely by a freelance writing team from around the globe. Sundara Karma
Sundara Karma are an English rock band formed in 2011 in Reading, England. The band consists of lead vocalist, guitarist and songwriter Oscar Pollock, lead guitarist Ally Baty, bassist Dom Cordell and drummer Haydn Evans. The band's name is derived from Sanskrit words, meaning ''"Beautiful Karma"''. History 2011–2016: Formation and early years Sundara Karma formed in 2011 while they were teenagers in secondary school. Pale Waves
Pale Waves are an English rock band from Manchester, formed in 2014. It was founded originally as Creek when lead singer and guitarist Heather Baron-Gracie met drummer Ciara Doran while attending university in Manchester. The other members are guitarist Hugo Silvani and bassist Charlie Wood, completing the lineup. Pale Waves's early work is often described as 80s-inspired indie rock or synth-pop; their second and third albums, however, owe more to the pop-punk genre. After signing a record deal with Dirty Hit in 2017, Pale Waves released their debut single, " There's a Honey", followed by " Television Romance". Blossoms (band)
Blossoms are an English pop band from Stockport, Greater Manchester, England. Formed in 2013, the band consists of Tom Ogden (lead vocals, guitar), Charlie Salt (bass, backing vocals), Josh Dewhurst (lead guitar, percussion), Joe Donovan (drums) and Myles Kellock (keyboards, synthesizer, backing vocals). They were on the BBC's Sound Of new music list for 2016 where they finished in fourth place. They were one of only two guitar bands on the list, alongside Rat Boy. Blossoms' self-titled debut album was one of the twelve albums nominated for the Mercury Music Prize in 2017. That same year, they were nominated for British Breakthrough Act at the Brit Awards. Jamie Alexander Treays (born 8 January 1986), better known by his stage name Jamie T, is an English singer, songwriter, rapper, guitarist and record producer from Wimbledon, South London. Circa Waves are an English indie rock band formed in Liverpool in 2013. The band consists of lead vocalist and guitarist Kieran Shudall, guitarist Joe Falconer, bassist Sam Rourke, and drummer Colin Jones. Dingwalls was a live music and comedy venue adjacent to Camden Lock, Camden, London, England. The building itself is one of many industrial Victorian buildings that were put to new use in the 20th century. The original owner of the building, T.E. Dingwall, had his name painted on to the outside wall of the building, which was a common practice by businesses in Camden Town during the late Victorian era. The paint is still visible to this day, hence the venue's name. The 500-capacity venue was bought by promoter Vince Power in June 2020 and continues to host gigs of contemporary music.
