INF Clairefontaine
The INF Clairefontaine (""), INF, or simply Clairefontaine, is the national football centre that specialises in training French football players. The INF Clairefontaine is a section of the CNF Clairefontaine. The academy is one of thirteen ''élite'' academies located in and around France that are supervised by the French Football Federation (FFF). Only the best players from the Île-de-France ''région'' train at the Clairefontaine academy. The twelve other academies are situated in Castelmaurou, Châteauroux, Liévin, Dijon, Marseille, Ploufragan, Vichy and Reims, Réunion, Saint-Sébastien-sur-Loire, Guadeloupe and Talence. Clairefontaine opened in 1988 and is named after Fernand Sastre, the president of the FFF from 1972–1984. The academy is located 50 km southwest of Paris at Clairefontaine-en-Yvelines and is one of the best known football academies in the world. CNFE Clairefontaine
The Pole France feminin de Football (English: French Women's Football Pole), formally the Centre national de formation et d'entraînement de Clairefontaine (English: National Education and Training Center Clairefontaine) is a French training center specializing in women's football, opened in 1998 and administered by the French Football Federation. Formerly located on the Montjoye estate in Clairefontaine-en-Yvelines, since 2014 the Pole has been located at the National Institute of Sport, Expertise and Performance (INSEP) in Paris. From 2002 through 2007, CNFE Clairefontaine, as it was commonly known, played in the Division 1 Féminine.
