The Indian Naval Air Squadron 314 (INAS 314) is a naval squadron of the Indian Navy based at Porbandar. The squadron was commissioned on 29 November 2019 by Vice Admiral MS Pawar. This squadron is currently operational under the Western Naval Command. History ''INAS 314'' was officially commissioned by Vice Admiral MS Pawar on 29 November 2019 at Porbandar. Porbandar is a city in the States and territories of India, Indian state of Gujarat, perhaps best known for being the birthplace of Mahatma Gandhi and Sudama. INAS 318
The INAS 318 is an Indian naval air squadron based at INS Utkrosh, Port Blair. History INAS 318 was commissioned on 10 March 1984. Lt Cdr J S Dhillon was the first Squadron Commander. Murlidhar Sadashiv Pawar
Vice Admiral Murlidhar Sadashiv Pawar, PVSM, AVSM, VSM is a retired officer of the Indian Navy. He served as the Deputy Chief of the Naval Staff. He assumed office from Vice Admiral G Ashok Kumar on 30 January 2019 and served till 31 May 2021 till his retirement. He is succeeded by Vice Admiral Ravneet Singh.
