IL Sverre
Idrettslaget Sverre is a sports club located in Levanger, Norway. The club was founded on 26 September 1886, and today it has sections for football, gymnastics, tennis and cycling. The name originates from Birkebeiner king Sverre Sigurdsson. Football History In the 1956–57 season, Sverre competed in play-offs to win promotion to the 1957–58 Hovedserien, the top division in the Norwegian football league system. Sverre lost 3–5 on aggregate against Molde and were never promoted to the top flight. Sverre kept on playing in lower leagues until their last season as a senior team in the fourth tier 3. divisjon in the 1995 season. In 1996, the men's senior football team merged with SK Nessegutten and created Levanger FK. They currently have football sections for youths up to the age of 16 years. The 1972 Summer Olympics (), officially known as the Games of the XX Olympiad () and commonly known as Munich 1972 (german: München 1972), was an international multi-sport event held in Munich, West Germany, from 26 August to 11 September 1972. Kristoffer Paulsen Vatshaug (born Kristoffer Paulsen, 3 June 1981) is a retired Norwegian footballer. He played for IL Sverre, Steinkjer FK, Levanger FK, FK Bodø/Glimt, IK Start and Molde FK. Per Verner Rønning
Per Verner Vågan Rønning (born 9 January 1983) is a former Norwegian footballer. He has previously played for Kongsvinger, AIK, Bodø/Glimt, Rosenborg and Levanger. Career Rønning made his debut for AIK on 17 April against IFK Göteborg as a left wing-back. He gave an assist to goalscorer Miran Burgič who headed in the equalizer in the match. Rønning was injured most of the 2007 season. He only played in three Allsvenskan matches that season. In January 2008 he transferred from AIK to Bodø/Glimt, and played there until he moved to Rosenborg the summer 2011. At winter 2015 Rønning was loaned back to his former club Levanger Levanger is a municipality in Trøndelag county, Norway. It is part of the district of Innherred.
