Independent Lutheran Diocese
The Independent Lutheran Diocese (ILD) is a small Confessional Lutheran Association currently headquartered in Klamath Falls, Oregon. History The ILD was originally founded in 2005 as the Old Lutheran Church in America (OLCA), being formed by an Independent Lutheran Pastor and by Lutheran Church–Missouri Synod members who desired an alternate route to ordination as a Lutheran Pastor. In 2008 OLCA was renamed as the Independent Lutheran Diocese. The ILD currently consists of eight churches. As of 2022, there were 22 pastors serving in the United States along with three international pastors in Canada, Japan and Australia, with three church bodies in altar and pulpit fellowship in India and Myanmar. International Labor Defense
The International Labor Defense (ILD) (1925–1947) was a legal advocacy organization established in 1925 in the United States as the American section of the Comintern's International Red Aid network. The ILD defended Sacco and Vanzetti, was active in the anti-lynching, movements for civil rights, and prominently participated in the defense and legal appeals in the cause célèbre of the Scottsboro Boys in the early 1930s. Its work contributed to the appeal of the Communist Party among African Americans in the South. In addition to fundraising for defense and assisting in defense strategies, from January 1926 it published ''Labor Defender'', a monthly illustrated magazine that achieved wide circulation. Interstitial lung disease (ILD), or diffuse parenchymal lung disease (DPLD), is a group of respiratory diseases affecting the interstitium (the tissue and space around the alveoli (air sacs)) of the lungs. It concerns alveolar epithelium, pulmonary capillary endothelium, basement membrane, and perivascular and perilymphatic tissues. It may occur when an injury to the lungs triggers an abnormal healing response. Ordinarily, the body generates just the right amount of tissue to repair damage, but in interstitial lung disease, the repair process is disrupted, and the tissue around the air sacs (alveoli) becomes scarred and thickened. This makes it more difficult for oxygen to pass into the bloodstream. The disease presents itself with the following symptoms: shortness of breath, nonproductive coughing, fatigue, and weight loss, which tend to develop slowly, over several months. Internet Listing Display (ILD) was a set of rules put forth by the National Association of National Association of Realtors in 2005 to regulate how homes and properties can be displayed on internet sites. The ILD policy was intended to consolidate and replace both the Virtual Office Website (VOW) and Internet Data Exchange (IDX) policies to create one set of rules. The ILD policy is a work in progress created as a result of investigation from the U.S. Department of Justice into anti-competitive practices by traditional real estate brokers. Indentation force-deflection is a process used in the flexible foam manufacturing industry to assess the "softness" of a sample of foam such as memory foam. To conduct an IFD test, a circular flat indenter with a surface area of 323 square centimeters (50 sq. inches - 8" in diameter) is pressed against a foam sample usually 100 mm thick and with an area of 500 mm by 500 mm (ASTM standard D3574). The foam sample is first placed on a flat table perforated with holes to allow the passage of air. It is then "warmed up" by being compressed twice to 75% "strain", and then allowed to recover for six minutes. The force is measured 60 seconds after achieving 25% indentation with the indenter.
