IFK Göteborg Academy
The IFK Göteborg Academy is a youth development program associated with the Swedish football club IFK Göteborg. This academy is often called The Football Academy ( sv, Fotbollsakademin). Another informal name for the academy is ''Änglagården'' ( en, The House of Angels), after the name of the primary training facility used by the academy. Academy history In 1996 noted-sportsman Roger Gustafsson resigned as manager of the IFK Göteborg team. He had won an extraordinary five championships in his six-year tenure. Gustafsson received several employment offers from major European clubs. However, he indicated that he was not interested in leaving IFK, which he had worked for since 1983 (in a variety of positions). He encouraged IFK to change strategy after the Bosman ruling—which allowed the players to leave their team for free at contract expiration—by putting much more emphasis on producing talented players on their own rather than buying talent from other clubs. P19 Allsvenskan is the highest level of men's association football for Swedish under-19 teams, and determines the under-19 (or junior) Swedish championships. The title has been officially contested since 1982 in different formats, IFK Göteborg being the most successful team with nine titles. History The junior championships for club teams (, also or ) for boys have been played since 1982, but the competition had several unofficial precursors. A cup tournament, , was played from 1945 to 1976, and was open to member clubs of the Swedish Professional Football Leagues. Idrottsföreningen Kamraterna Göteborg (officially IFK Göteborg Fotboll), commonly known as IFK Göteborg, IFK (especially locally) or simply Göteborg, is a Swedish professional football club based in Gothenburg. Prioritet Serneke Arena is a multi-sport complex in the district of Kviberg in Gothenburg, Sweden. The arena, located in Kviberg Park in eastern Gothenburg, is the largest multi-sport complex in the Nordic countries. It has a total area of 45,300 m² spread out on seven floors, and houses amongst other things a 1.2 km long indoor all-season skiing trail and a full-size football pitch with a spectator capacity of 3,300. Aspero Idrottsgymnasium
Aspero is a well-studied Late Preceramic site of the ancient Caral-Supe civilization, located at the mouth of the Supe river on the north-central Peruvian coast. The site covers an area of approximately 35 acres and is made up of two large platform mounds, Huaca de los Sacrificios and Huaca de los Idolos, along with 15 other smaller mounds. Excavations After excavations archaeologists have found that each mound was built in stages, having two or three tiers rising about 10m about the surface. They have found ceremonial buildings, plazas, terraces, and large middens. Caches were found in these structures including clay figurines, wooden bowls, feathers, cotton, and string and cane objects. The diet of Aspero is believed to have been primarily maritime because of its proximity to the Pacific Ocean.
