IESE
IESE Business School is the graduate business school of the University of Navarra. Founded in 1958 in Barcelona where its main campus is located,LĂłpez, T. & Pampliega, J“La fundaciĂłn del IESE (1956–1958)” Universidad de Navarra, Biblioteca Virtual JosĂ© MarĂa Escrivá de Balaguer/ IESE in 1963 formed an alliance with Harvard Business School (HBS) and launched the first two-year MBA program in Europe. IESE has campuses in Barcelona, Madrid, Munich, New York and SĂŁo Paulo. As a business school, the different campuses teach Master of Business Administration (MBA), Executive MBA and Executive Education programs. IESE is an initiative of the Opus Dei, a personal prelature of the Catholic Church. In the post-pandemic era, IESE faces new challenges and the necessary shift of the economy towards decarbonisation and reducing inequality, according to its dean, Franz Heukamp. Antonio Valero Vicente
Antonio Valero Vicente (March 1, 1925 – August 8, 2001) was a Spanish industrial engineer, professor and the first dean of IESE Business School, part of the University of Navarra. A pioneer in executive education and in using the case method to teach management in Spain, he was committed to the world of business. Valero served as a board member and advisor in public and private sector companies, and was an advisor to various government ministries. He helped found the first centrist political parties in Catalonia. In 1968, he was awarded the Grand Cross of the Civil Order of Alfonso X, the Wise. Juan Antonio PĂ©rez LĂłpez
Juan Antonio Pérez López (1934–1996) was a Spanish business theorist. He was professor of ''Organizational Behavior'' at the IESE Business School (Spain), where he became Dean (1978–1984). He was also a visiting professor at PAD Business School of the Universidad de Piura (Peru) and IAE Business School of the Austral University (Argentina). His research and publications focus on Action Theory and its implications for Organizational Behavior. They collect and integrate economic, sociological, and ethical aspects. Franz Heukamp
Franz Heukamp (born September 6, 1973, Germany) is the dean of IESE Business School and has held this post since 2016. He is also business management scholar and Professor of Managerial Decision Sciences at IESE Business School, University of Navarra. Biography Heukamp has been a member of IESE faculty since 2002. In 2016 he was appointed Dean by the President of the University. He holds a PhD from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (1999–2002), a degree in Civil Engineering from the École Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées – ParisTech and a degree in engineering from the Technische Universität München. Heukamp is a scholar of behavioral decision-making with a special interest in the area of neuroeconomics. Jordi Canals (born 1960 in Barcelona) is a former Dean of IESE Business School – University of Navarra, where he is also Professor of Economics and General Management. 165 West 57th Street, originally the Louis H. Chalif Normal School of Dancing headquarters, is a building in the Midtown Manhattan neighborhood of New York City. It is along the northern sidewalk of 57th Street between Sixth Avenue and Seventh Avenue. The five-story building was designed by George A. and Henry Boehm for dance instructor Louis H. Chalif. It was designed as an event space, a school, and Chalif's apartment. 165 West 57th Street has an asymmetrical facade. The original ground story was originally built with ivory-colored Dover marble but was later refaced with limestone. At the second and third stories, the facade contains a diagonal pattern resembling a diamond, with terracotta molding. Rafael del Pino y Moreno (and family) (born 10 November 1920 in Madrid, Spain; died 14 June 2008 in Madrid) was one of the wealthiest men in Europe.
