Ivan Hudec
Ivan Hudec (10 July 1947 – 7 February 2022) was a Slovak writer and politician. A member of the People's Party – Movement for a Democratic Slovakia, he served as Minister of Culture from 1994 to 1998. Nitra
Nitra (; also known by other alternative names) is a city in western Slovakia, situated at the foot of Zobor Mountain in the valley of the river Nitra. It is located 95 km east of Bratislava. With a population of about 78,353, it is the fifth largest city in Slovakia. Nitra is also one of the oldest cities in Slovakia; it was the political center of the Principality of Nitra. Today, it is a seat of a ''kraj'' (Nitra Region), and an '' okres'' (Nitra District). Etymology The first mention of Nitra dates back to the 9th century. Milan Kňažko (born 28 August 1945) is a Slovak actor and politician. He was one of the leading personalities of the Public against Violence movement in November 1989 and one of the most popular faces of the Velvet Revolution in Slovakia.
