''It's Adam and Shelley'' is a British television variety series written by brother and sister Adam and Shelley Longworth. The series was directed by Tim Kirkby and was broadcast on BBC Three from 1 October to 5 November 2007. Following poor reception and ratings, the show was axed by BBC Three in December 2007. Episodes ''It's Adam and Shelley'' was originally planned as a one-off pilot but was later picked up for a full six-part series earlier in 2007. The six episodes began airing on 1 October 2007 and finished on 5 November 2007. Tim Kirkby
Timothy John Kirkby (born 13 November 1970 in Sidcup, Kent, England) is a British filmmaker, working in both the United Kingdom and the United States. He is best known for directing the science parody series ''Look Around You'' , the BAFTA winning BBC 2 show ''Stewart Lee's Comedy Vehicle'', and setting up the multi-award winning ''Fleabag''. Career Kirkby made his TV directorial debut with the BAFTA nominated science spoof ''Look Around You''. He received further recognition for the first season of the BAFTA nominated ''My Mad Fat Diary'', the BAFTA nominated BBC single drama ''The C Word'', and more recently the critically acclaimed ''Fleabag''. Shelley Longworth
Shelley Nicola Longworth (born 22 March 1976) is a British actress. She is best known for playing the role of Sam Wood in ''Benidorm'', from 2011 to 2012 and from 2017 to 2018. Career In 2010, she joined the cast of ''Benidorm'' for the fourth series playing loud-mouthed Sam Wood. She returned for the fifth series in 2012 and then departed from the show. In 2016, it was confirmed that Longworth would reprise her role as Sam for the ninth series, the first episode of which aired on 1 March 2017. She has appeared in the comedy sketch shows ''Tittybangbang'' on BBC Three and ''Angelo's'' on Five, voiced characters in the children's show ''Fimbles'', and starred in her own comedy series with her brother Adam Longworth, '' It's Adam and Shelley'', which was broadcast on BBC Three in 2007. BBC Three
BBC Three is a British free-to-air public broadcast television channel owned and operated by the BBC.
