''It's-It'', released in October 1992, is a remix album by the Icelandic alternative rock band the Sugarcubes. After its release, the Sugarcubes disbanded and lead singer Björk went on to have a successful solo career. One single that was released from this compilation, the Tony Humphries remix of "Leash Called Love" reached number one on ''Billboards Hot Dance Club Songs Chart in 1992. Leash Called Love
"Leash Called Love" is a song written and recorded by the Icelandic band the Sugarcubes for their 1992 album ''Stick Around for Joy'', and their follow up to their number one ''Billboard'' Modern Rock Tracks single "Hit". The track dealt with the subject of a woman's vow to break free from the emotional and physical abuse from her lover, hence the song's title. The song would also be the group's final single release before their break up in 1993. While the single did not chart the ''Billboard'' Modern Rock or Hot 100 charts, it would eventually find better success on the magazine's Dance Club Songs chart, where it was restructured into a house music setting by Tony Humphries for the compilation '' It's-It'', eventually becoming the act's first and only number one single on that chart, and cemented lead singer Björk's new found success in the dance and electronic music community. ''Stick Around for Joy'' is the third and final studio album by Icelandic alternative rock band the Sugarcubes. It was released in 1992 by Elektra. The album was supported by four singles: "Hit", which reached number one on the Modern Rock Tracks chart in the US and number 17 on the UK Singles Chart, "Walkabout", "Vitamin" and " Leash Called Love", which went to number one on the US Dance chart. The album peaked at number 95 on the ''Billboard'' 200 and reached number 16 on the UK Albums Chart, marking the band's lowest charting positions on both charts. Marius de Vries (born 1961) is an English music producer and composer. He has won a Grammy Award from four nominations, two BAFTA Awards, and an Ivor Novello Award. Mark Saunders (born 1959) is a British record producer and audio engineer who has worked on a number of albums since the 1980s, with artists including the Cure, David Byrne, Erasure, and Tricky. Career Saunders's professional music career started as a drummer playing with Carlene Carter, Johnny Cash's stepdaughter, in 1982. Graham Massey
Graham Vernon Massey (born 4 August 1960 in Manchester) is a British record producer, musician, and remixer. Early career He was a member of experimental jazz rock group Biting Tongues, once signed to Factory Records. After recording with the latter he enrolled in a sound engineer course. By 1988, he was a founding member of the British band 808 State. Originally a hip hop group called Hit Squad Manchester, they shifted to an acid house sound for recording their debut album '' Newbuild''. Music 808 State was named after Massey's favourite drum machine, the Roland TR-808. He said he thought Roland drum machines were "severely uncool" when they first appeared.
