Aharon Haliva ( he, אהרון חליוה; born 1967) is an Israeli Major general (Aluf) who commands the IDF's Military Intelligence Directorate (Israel). Military service Haliva was drafted into the IDF in 1985. He volunteered as a paratrooper in the Paratroopers Brigade, and in 1985 became an infantry officer after completing Officer Candidate School. Haliva fought as a platoon leader at the 202 paratroop battalion in Operation Law and Order in Lebanon. Later on he led 202 paratroop battalion in South Lebanon and during the Second Intifada. Afterwards he commanded the Paratroopers Brigade's training base and the 55th Paratroopers Brigade. Dan Biton
Aluf Dan Biton ( he, דן ביטון, born 1961) is a general in the Israel Defense Forces and the Head of the Technological and Logistics Directorate. Biton was drafted into the IDF in 1979. He served with the armored corps and later became a company commander in the Kfir Brigade and the 460th Brigade. He continued his service in the latter, becoming battalion vice commander and GHQ officer. Biton served as commander of a battalion within the 500th Brigade, was made a GHQ officer in the 36th Division and various other officer posts. Aluf Avi (Abraham) Mizrahi ( he, אבי מזרחי; born 1957) is a general in the Israel Defense Forces, the Head of Israeli Central Command between October 2009 and March 2012. Military career Mizrahi was drafted by the IDF in 1975, and joined Sayeret Golani (95th Recon. Company), the SF unit of the 1st Infantry Brigade. He later entered the Israeli Armor Corps, where he worked his way up to brigade commander. Aluf Ehud "Udi" Adam ( he, אהוד "אודי" אדם; born 22 January 1958) is a former general in the Israel Defense Forces and the former head of the Israeli Northern Command. Biography Adam was born in Tel Aviv to a Mountain Jewish family.
