Israel Men's National Volleyball Team
The Israel men's national volleyball team represents Israel in international men's volleyball competitions and friendly matches. It is governed by the Israel Volleyball Association. Just like in other sports, even though Israel is geographically located in Asia, it competes in European competitions (CEV) due to the Arab boycott in the 1970s. Grzegorz Ryś
Grzegorz Ryś (born 9 February 1964) is a Polish Roman Catholic bishop, being the archbishop of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Łódź since 2017. He was previously an auxiliary bishop of the Archdiocese of Kraków and titular bishop of Arcavica from 2011 to 2017. He also served as an apostolic administrator of the Diocese of Kalisz from 2020 to 2021. Biography Early life Ryś was born on 9 February 1964 in Krakow. In the years 1982–1988 he studied at the Faculty of Theology and the Faculty of History of the Church of the Pontifical Academy of Theology in Krakow, as well as at the Major Seminary of the Archdiocese of Krakow. He was ordained a priest on 22 May 1988 in the Wawel Cathedral by Cardinal Franciszek Macharski, then the Metropolitan Archbishop of Kraków. In 1994 Ryś earned a doctorate in theological sciences based on the dissertation Medieval folk piety in Poland. 2012 Men's European Volleyball League
The 2012 Men's European Volleyball League was the ninth edition of the annual Men's European Volleyball League, which featured men's national volleyball teams from ten European countries. A preliminary league round was played from May 24 to June 24, and the final four tournament, which was held at Ankara, Turkey. During the league round, competing nations were drawn into two pools of five teams, and every team hosted a tournament with three other teams and played a round-robin system over three days. Every team played at four tournaments and one standings table was used, combined with all five tournaments. The Pool winners and runners-up qualified for the final four round, joining the host team. 2011 Men's European Volleyball League
The 2011 Men's European Volleyball League was the eighth edition of the annual Men's European Volleyball League, which featured men's national volleyball teams from twelve European countries: Austria, Belgium, Belarus, Croatia, Great Britain, Greece, Netherlands, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, and Turkey. A preliminary league round was played from May 25 to July 10, and the final four tournament, which was held at Košice, Slovakia, on July 16. During the league round, competing nations were drawn into three pools of four teams, and played each other in a double round-robin system, with two matches per leg in a total of six legs. Pool winners qualified for the final four round, joining the host team. If the final four host team finished first in its league round pool, the best pool runners-up qualified for the final four. 12 teams participated in this year's edition, which was a record field. The Men's European Volleyball League is a continental volleyball competition senior men's national volleyball teams of Europe, organized by the European Volleyball Confederation ( CEV). 2021 Men's European Volleyball Championship
The 2021 Men's European Volleyball Championship was the 32nd edition of the Men's European Volleyball Championship, organised by Europe's governing volleyball body, CEV. For the second time, the EuroVolley was held in four countries: Poland, Czech Republic, Estonia and Finland. The number of national teams that participated in the event remained to 24.
