Distribution The species of this genus are found in south and southeast Asia and in Oceania, with the exception of ''Isometrus maculatus'' which is pantropical. Description They are medium sized buthids, where the adults have a body length of 30 to 75 mm. Pedipalps are orthobothriotaxic. Chelal trichobothrium db is located between dt and et.
