Isa Chiroma
Isa Hayatu Chiroma (13 April 1963) is Nigeria legal practitioner and professor of law at the University of Maiduguri. In February 2018, he is appointed as the Director General of the Nigeria Law School by Muhammadu Buhari. He replaced Professor Olanrewaju Onadeko who served for eight year. Prior to be appointed, he was the deputy director in the Yola, Adamawa, Yola campus of Nigeria Law School from 2011 to 2016. He became a Senior Advocate of Nigeria, ranked at the 133 plenary session meetings in 2018. Background Isa Hayatu was born in Mubi of Mubi North Local Government, Adamawa State. Adamawa State
Adamawa state () is a state in the North-East geopolitical zone of Nigeria, bordered by Borno to the northwest, Gombe to the west, and Taraba to the southwest, while its eastern border forms part of the national border with Cameroon. Federal Polytechnic, Mubi
Federal Polytechnic, Mubi is a polytechnic based in Mubi, Adamawa State, northeastern Nigeria. The Federal Polytechnic, Mubi is one of the seven Federal Polytechnics established by Decree No. 33 of 1979. It opened in August of the same year as the Federal Polytechnic, Yola, on the rocky side of the north bank of Benue River. Following a Presidential directive, the Polytechnic was relocated to Mubi in October 1982 but still maintain its site in Yola as Consultancy Services Unit. In Mubi the institution inherited the building of the defunct Federal School of Arts and Sciences. The Nigerian Law School is an educational institution set up by the Government of Nigeria in 1962 to provide a Nigerian legal education to foreign-trained lawyers, and to provide practical training for aspiring Legal Practitioners in Nigeria. Until the school was established, legal practitioners in Nigeria had received the requisite training in England and had been called to the English Bar. Yola, Adamawa
Yola (Fulfulde: Ƴoola), meaning 'Great Plain' or 'Vast Plain Land', is the largest city, capital city and administrative center of Adamawa State, Nigeria. Located on the Benue River, it has a population of 336,648 (2010). Yola is splited into two parts.
