''Stakeout'' is a 1987 American buddy cop action comedy film directed by John Badham and starring Richard Dreyfuss, Emilio Estevez, Madeleine Stowe and Aidan Quinn. The screenplay was written by Jim Kouf, who won a 1988 Edgar Award for his work. Although the story is set in Seattle, the film was shot in Vancouver. A sequel, ''Another Stakeout'', followed in 1993. The film later inspired the 1989 Malayalam-language movie ''Vandanam'' and 1991 Telugu-language movie '' Nirnayam''. "Kyrie" () is a song by American pop rock band Mr. Mister, from their album '' Welcome to the Real World''. Released around Christmas in 1985, it hit the top spot on the ''Billboard'' Hot 100 in March 1986, where it was number 1 for two weeks. It also hit the top spot on the ''Billboard'' Top Rock Tracks chart for one week. In the UK, the song peaked at number 11 in March 1986. Background and writing The lyrics to "Kyrie" were written by Arizona-born John Lang who co-wrote the songs on all of Mr. Mister's albums. The music was composed by Richard Page and Steve George while on tour with Adam Ant. Kýrie, eléison means "Lord, have mercy" in Greek, and is a part of many liturgical rites in Eastern and Western Christianity. Paul De Villiers is a sound engineer and record producer whose credits include Mr. Mister's best-selling 1985 album '' Welcome to the Real World'' and Yes's 1987 album ''Big Generator'', which reached number 15 on the ''Billboard'' 200 albums chart. Career De Villiers' first appearance on a charting album was as a sound engineer for Yes's 1985 live album '' 9012Live: The Solos'', which reached number 81 on the ''Billboard'' 200. Pat Mastelotto
Lee Patrick Mastelotto (born September 10, 1955) is an American rock drummer and record producer. He has been a member of King Crimson, Stick Men, Mr. Mister and O.R.k., as well as working as a session drummer with XTC, The Pointer Sisters and The Rembrandts, among others. In addition, he has led or co-led other projects including Mastica, Tuner, TU and The Mastelottos. For King Crimson, he initially formed part of the "Double Trio" lineup from 1994 to 1997, working with Bill Bruford as part of a double-drumkit arrangement.
