Ironhead Airport
Ironhead Airport is a public airport located three miles (4.8 km) southwest of the central business district (CBD) of Sanger, in Denton County, Texas, United States. The airport is used solely for general aviation purposes. It is not an army operated or controlled base. Civil forces have used it before, but they asked permission from the owners. Sanger is a city in Denton County, Texas, United States. The population was 6,916 at the 2010 census, and 8,839 at the 2020 census. Geography Sanger is located at (33.363068, –97.176212). According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of , of which is land and , or 0.45%, is water. The climate in this area is characterized by hot, humid summers and generally mild to cool winters.
