Iris Club de Croix, commonly referred to as IC Croix, is a French association football club based in Croix in the Nord department in the north of France. The club was formed in 1952 through a merger of two clubs from the town. For the first half-century of existence, the club played football at district level, but a series of promotions in the second half of the first decade of the 21st century elevated it to the national leagues. As of the 2020–21 season it competes in Championnat National 3, the fifth tier of football in France. The club's highest league competed was Championnat National 3 between 2015 and 2020. Mamadou Dia (18 July 1910 – 25 January 2009) was a Senegalese politician who served as the first Prime Minister of Senegal from 1957 until 1962, when he was forced to resign and was subsequently imprisoned amidst allegations that he was planning to stage a military coup to overthrow President Léopold Sédar Senghor. Mathieu Robail (born 2 June 1985) is a retired French professional footballer who played as a midfielder. Career Born in Cambrai, Robail was signed by Lille as a youth player. He played for third-division side ES Wasquehal during the 2004–05 season, scoring three goals. In January 2010 he signed a six-month deal with SC Bastia after terminating his contract with Dijon. In September 2015, Robail joined CA Bastia. The 2015–16 Championnat de France Amateur is the 18th season of the fourth tier in the French football league system. Teams There were twelve teams promoted from Championnat de France amateur 2, while ten teams were relegated from the 2014–15 Championnat de France amateur. Two teams came from the 2014–15 Ligue 2 and 2014–15 Championnat National, which are AC Arles-Avignon and US Colomiers Football respectively.
