Thomas Michael Jeneary (born March 31, 1952) is a retired dentist and American politician in the state of Iowa. He was elected to the Iowa House of Representatives in 2018 and his term was set to end on January 8, 2023. He was born in Des Moines, Iowa and is a retired dentist and funeral director. Iowa General Assembly
The Iowa General Assembly is the legislative branch of the state government of Iowa. Like the federal United States Congress, the General Assembly is a bicameral body, composed of the upper house Iowa Senate and the lower Iowa House of Representatives respectively. The Senate consists of four year terms and the House consists of two year terms. The General Assembly convenes within the Iowa State Capitol in Des Moines. There are 100 seats in the Iowa House of Representatives, representing 100 single-member districts across the state, formed by dividing the 50 Senate districts in half. Each district has a population of approximately 30,464 . The House of Representatives meets at the Iowa State Capitol in Des Moines. Rollin Edelen
Rollin C. Edelen (May 17, 1908 – November 27, 1993) was an American businessman and politician. Born in Brooklyn, Iowa, Edelen went to school in Brooklyn and Hartwick, Iowa. He went to the University of Minnesota. During World War II, Edelen served in the United States Army and was stationed in the Pacific. He owned Estherville Concrete Productions in Estherville, Iowa and was involved in the savings and loan business. From 1971 to 1975, Edelen servein the Iowa House of Representatives and was a Republican. From 1977 to 1981, Edelen served on the Emmet County, Iowa Board of Supervisors. Edelen died in a hospital in Estherville, Iowa. His brother was Walter E. Lester D. Menke (December 16, 1918 – March 5, 2016) was a state Representative from the Iowa's 5th and 7th Districts. He served in the Iowa House of Representatives from 1973 to 1985, serving as Speaker pro Tempore from 1981 to 1985. Dwayne Alons
Dwayne Arlan Alons (October 30, 1946 – November 29, 2014) was an American politician. A Republican, he sat in the Iowa House of Representatives from 1999 to 2014, representing the 5th district until 2003, and the 4th district thereafter. He was a brigadier general in the Iowa Air National Guard and served as chief of staff at its headquarters. Alons died of cancer on November 29, 2014. He was succeeded in office by John Kooiker.
