Ioane I, Prince Of Mukhrani
Ioane ( ka, იოანე მუხრანბატონი, ''Ioane Mukhranbatoni'') (12 December 1755 – 1 October 1801) was a Georgian diplomat and military commander. As the head of the Mukhrani branch of the royal Bagrationi dynasty of Kartli, he was Prince ('' batoni'') of Mukhrani and ''ex officio'' commander of the Banner of Shida Kartli and Grand Master of the Household (''msakhurt-ukhutsesi'') at the court of Georgia from 1778 to 1801. Biography Ioane was a son of Prince Constantine III of Mukhrani. He succeeded to the headship of the House of Mukhrani on the retirement of his relative, Simon. He was a son-in-law and senior official of King Heraclius II of Georgia. Garsevan Chavchavadze
Prince Garsevan Chavchavadze ( ka, გარსევან ჭავჭავაძე) (July 20, 1757 - April 7, 1811) was a Georgian nobleman (''tavadi''), politician and diplomat primarily known as the Georgian ambassador to Imperial Russia. He came from a noble family of the 3rd rank from the kingdom of Kakheti, eastern Georgia. For years, Chavchavadze served as adjutant-general to Heraclius II of Georgia, king of Kartli and Kakheti. Prince Grigol Bagration of Mukhrani ( ka, გრიგოლ ბაგრატიონ მუხრანელი) (1787—1861) was a Georgia (country), Georgian nobleman of the House of Mukhrani. Ketevan ( ka, ქეთევანი; 1764 – 5 July 1840) was a Georgian princess royal (''batonishvili''), a daughter of Heraclius II, the penultimate king of Kartli and Kakheti, and the wife of Ioann, Prince of Mukhrani. Like her sisters, Mariam and Thecla, Ketevan was a poet of some talent and wrote in the spirit of early Romanticism. Biography Princess Ketevan was born in 1764 in the family of Heraclius II and his third wife Darejan Dadiani. She married, c. 1781, Ioane, Prince of Mukhrani (1755–1801), a prominent military and political figure of that time.
