The Invisible Woman (Susan "Sue" Storm-Richards) is a superheroine appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. The character is a founding member of the Fantastic Four and was the first female superhero created by Marvel during the Silver Age of Comic Books. Sue Storm received her powers by being exposed to a cosmic storm, and was originally known as the Invisible Girl. She possesses two powers: invisibility and force fields. Her invisibility power deals with bending light waves and allows her to render herself and other objects invisible. ''The Invisible Girl'' is a Gothic tale written by Mary Shelley and first published in ''The Keepsake'' for 1833. The tale is set in Wales, and tells the story of a young woman named Rosina, who lives with her guardian, Sir Peter Vernon, and is secretly engaged to his son, Henry. Henry is away from home when their relationship is discovered, and Sir Peter casts Rosina out of the house. Sir Peter regrets his harshness and searches for her, but assumes she is dead when she cannot be found. Henry returns home to the news of Rosina's death and is heartbroken. He joins the search for her body, and the villagers tell him about the Invisible Girl, a ghostly figure who wanders the woods at night. ''Ten'' is the second studio album by Australian-born singer-songwriter Gabriella Cilmi, released on 22 March 2010. The lead single, " On a Mission", appeared two weeks ahead of the album and marked Cilmi's foray into more 1980s inspired music. ''Ten'' is Cilmi's second and final album released under Island Records. The album peaked in the top 40 in Australia and the UK. PopJustice placed ''Ten'' at number 4 on their "Top 33 albums of 2010" list. The album was not released in the United States. The Invisible Girls
The Invisible Girls were a British rock band, formed in Salford, Greater Manchester in 1978, to provide a musical backdrop to the recorded output of Salford punk poet John Cooper Clarke. The band's nucleus was Joy Division and New Order producer Martin Hannett and keyboardist Steve Hopkins, with contributions from, amongst others, Pete Shelley of Buzzcocks and Bill Nelson of Be-Bop Deluxe. The band also played on the first solo album by Pauline Murray (lead singer of Penetration), the eponymous '' Pauline Murray and the Invisible Girls'' and some singles, and later with Nico for the single "Procession".
