International Women's Club Championship
The International Women's Club Championship (IWCC), previously named the mobcast Cup and the Nestlé Cup for sponsorship reasons, was an international association football knockout cup competition contested by women's champion clubs. It was organised by the Japan Football Association and the Nadeshiko League. The first International Women's Club Championship took place in Japan in November 2012 with participation from four teams; Olympique Lyonnais (Europe), Canberra United (Australia), INAC Kobe Leonessa (Japan) and NTV Beleza (cup winner, Japan). The holders are São José, who beat Arsenal Ladies 2–0 in the 2014 final. The 2012 International Women's Club Championship was the first world wide international women's football club tournament, and was held in Japan from November 22–25, 2012. Four teams, comprising representatives from Europe, Australia and Japan, took part in the competition. Lara Dickenmann
Lara Joy Dickenmann (born 27 November 1985) is a Swiss footballer. She played for German club VfL Wolfsburg and with French club Olympique Lyonnais. She is a versatile footballer who can play as a midfielder or a full-back on either side of the field. She formerly played on the college level at the Ohio State University breaking many records and earning several player honors. In 2008, Dickenmann departed the university and joined D1 Féminine club Lyon. Dickenmann is also a member of the Switzerland women's national football team. Ji So-yun ( ko, 지소연, ; born 21 February 1991) is a South Korean professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for WK League club Suwon FC and the South Korean national team. 2013 International Women's Club Championship
The 2013 International Women's Club Championship was the second worldwide international women's football club tournament, and was held in Japan from 30 November–8 December 2013. Five teams, comprising representatives from Europe, Australia, South America, and Asia took part in the competition. Participating teams The invited teams were the champions of Europe, Australia, South America, Japan, and the Nadeshiko League Cup. As INAC Kobe Leonessa won both the Japanese Cup and league, the runner-up of the league was also invited. An unidentified team from the United States was also invited but ultimately declined.
