It was founded in 1989 by former European Tour golfer Andrew "Chubby" Chandler. . Justin Harding
Justin Adam Harding (born 9 February 1986) is a South African professional golfer. Amateur career Harding attended Paul Roos Gymnasium in Stellenbosch, South Africa, and played college golf at Lamar University in Texas and represented his country as an amateur golfer. Professional career Having graduated, he earned a place on the Sunshine Tour at the first attempt, finishing third at the 2009 qualifying school while still an amateur. He won a tournament in each of his first three seasons on the tour, 2010, 2011 and 2012. He won again in 2015 and 2016 and then twice in two weeks in 2018. In July 2018 Harding made a rare appearance outside Africa and won the Bank BRI Indonesia Open on the Asian Tour by a stroke from Scott Vincent. The Aphrodite Hills Cyprus Showdown was a professional golf tournament that was held 5–8 November 2020 at the Aphrodite Hills Resort, in Paphos, Cyprus. The tournament was contested over 72-holes of stroke play but featured a novel elimination format. The tournament, promoted by International Sports Management, was initially announced as the Cyprus Classic and was intended to be a one-off event on the European Tour calendar during the 2020 season. The Betfred British Masters is a professional golf tournament. It was founded in 1946 as the Dunlop Masters and was held every year up to 2008, except for 1984. Dunlop's sponsorship ended in 1982, and the name sponsor changed frequently thereafter, with the words "British Masters" usually also in the tournament's official name. The tournament was not held from 2009 to 2014 but returned to the schedule in 2015. History The Dunlop Masters was first held in 1946 at Stoneham Golf Club in Southampton, and was a continuation of the Dunlop-Metropolitan Tournament which had been held before World War II. The Turkish Airlines Open is a European Tour golf tournament played annually in Turkey since 2013. In both 2013 and 2014 the tournament was the penultimate event of the European Tour Final Series. The first three tournaments were held at the Montgomerie Maxx Royal. The Turkish Airlines World Golf Final was a golf tournament that was played on the 9–12 October 2012 in Turkey. This tournament took place at the Antalya Golf Club, Sultan course, in Belek, on the Turkish Riviera. It featured four of the five top ranked players: Rory McIlroy, Tiger Woods, Lee Westwood and Justin Rose in an eight-player field. George Coetzee
George William Coetzee (born 18 July 1986) is a South African professional golfer. He has won five tournaments on the European Tour and 13 on the Sunshine Tour, where he has also topped the Order of Merit on two occasions. Early life Coetzee was born in Pretoria and matriculated from the Afrikaanse Hoër Seunskool in 2004. He started playing golf when he was 10 and won the first junior tournament he ever played in, shooting 49 in 9 holes.
