Internal Conflict In Perú
The Peruvian conflict is an ongoing armed conflict between the Government of Peru and the Maoist guerilla group Shining Path and its remnants. The conflict began on 17 May 1980, and from 1982 to 1997 the Túpac Amaru Revolutionary Movement waged its own insurgency as a Marxist–Leninist rival to the Shining Path. As fighting intensified in the 1980s, the Peruvian government had one of the worst human rights records in the Western Hemisphere; Peru experienced the most forced disappearances in the world during the period while the Peruvian Armed Forces acted with impunity throughout the conflict, sometimes massacring entire villages. It is estimated that there have been between 50,000 and 70,000 deaths, making it the bloodiest war in Peruvian history, since the European colonization of the country. 2017–present Peruvian Political Crisis
The 2017–present Peruvian political crisis is an ongoing period of political instability in the Republic of Peru that initially took place between the government of Pedro Pablo Kuczynski (PPK) and allied parties against the majority-Fujimorism, Fujimorist 2016 Peruvian general election#Congress, Congress. During the course of the crisis President Pedro Pablo Kuczynski resigned, leaving his Vice-President Martín Vizcarra as successor until his removal on 9 November 2020. Afterwards a opposition-to-the Government Congress elected Manuel Merino as an interim President, however he was ousted by protests on 15 November 2020. The short lived Merino government was replaced by another interim government lead by Francisco Sagasti until 27 July 2021 when Pedro Castillo assumed the predicency after defeating the Fujimorist Party in 2021 General Elections. Abu Nidal Organization
The Abu Nidal Organization (ANO) is the most common name for the Palestinian nationalist militant group Fatah – The Revolutionary Council ('' Fatah al-Majles al-Thawry''). The ANO is named after its founder Abu Nidal. It was created by a split from Yasser Arafat's Fatah faction of the PLO in 1974. The group has been designated as a terrorist organization by the United States, the United Kingdom, Japan, Israel, Canada, and the European Union. The ANO was secular and anti-Western, but was not particularly associated with any ideology, or at least no such foundation was communicated. The organization was strongly linked with Abu Nidal's personal agenda. Al Arabiya English is the English language service of the Dubai-based regional Arab newscaster, Al-Arabiya News Channel. Its main audiences reside in the United States and the United Kingdom.
