Inter Zone Women's One Day Competition
The Inter Zone Women's One Day Competition was a List A cricket, List A women's cricket competition that took place in India between 2006–07 and 2013–14. The tournament involved five teams representing regions (or "zones") on India, playing in a Round-robin tournament, round-robin 50-over league. The tournament was the successor to the Rani Jhansi Trophy, which ran until 2002–03 and also involved zonal sides, and was replaced by the Senior Women's Cricket Inter Zonal Three Day Game, a First-class cricket, first-class competition using the same teams. The most successful side in the history of the competition was Central Zone women's cricket team, Central Zone, who won 7 out of the 8 titles. Board Of Control For Cricket In India
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is the national governing body for cricket in India. Its headquarters are situated at Cricket centre, Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. The BCCI is the richest governing body of cricket in the world and is part of the ''Big Three'' of international cricket, along with Cricket Australia and the England and Wales Cricket Board. The Central Zone women's cricket team is a women's cricket team that represents Central India in the Women's Senior Inter Zonal One Day and Women's Senior Inter Zonal T20. Cricket is a bat-and-ball game played between two teams of eleven players on a field at the centre of which is a pitch with a wicket at each end, each comprising two bails balanced on three stumps. The Senior Women's Cricket Inter Zonal Three Day Game is an Indian women's cricket first-class domestic competition organised by the Board of Control for Cricket in India. The competition began in 2014–15, as a two-day competition, with the three subsequent competitions in 2015–16, 2016–17 and 2017–18 operating with a three-day format. 2022–23 Women's Senior Inter Zonal One Day
The 2022–23 Women's Senior Inter Zonal One Day was the inaugural edition of the Women's Senior Inter Zonal One Day, a domestic one day cricket competition in India. The tournament took place from 12 to 21 February 2023, with six zonal teams taking part. The tournament followed the 2022–23 Women's Senior Inter Zonal T20 in being the first tournament involving women's zonal teams in India since the 2017–18 Senior Women's Cricket Inter Zonal Three Day Game. The East Zone women's cricket team is a women's cricket team that represents East India in the Women's Senior Inter Zonal One Day and Women's Senior Inter Zonal T20. It is a composite team of players from five teams from eastern India: Assam, Bengal, Jharkhand, Odisha and Tripura.
